~EXTENDED~ REGISTRATION DEADLINE: FRIDAY, DECEMBER 22, 2023
Come explore, chat, work together, and learn about new friends!
Want your child to have success with…
…developing relationships with peers?
…participating actively in conversations?
…taking turns?
…playing cooperatively with other kids?
Then this social skills group may be just what your child needs!
Our Social Skills Safari is designed to…
…support the skills needed for your child to engage in cooperative play with peers, learn and use conversation skills, pick up on others’ emotions, increase independence with turn taking, and more!
In this setting, your child will get to practice all the know-how’s and what-to-do’s that kids need to build happy, healthy social relationships with those around them. This is a unique opportunity for your kiddo to do so with specialized support from a licensed & certified speech-language pathologist and occupational therapist.
Your child will participate in fun, age-appropriate activities while targeting skills that support social language/communication development. Activities will include: making play-doh, board games, obstacle courses, treasure hunts, and pretend play. Woohoo!
-
Montana Gregory, M.A., CCC-SLP will lead us!
A few more speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, and/or other trained clinical team members will support the groups.
Your child will go on this adventure with a small group (up to 6 total) of peers with similar levels of social skill development.
See “What are my options?” for more info on group structure!

GROUP SCHEDULE
We have two schedule options for you to choose from, depending on what works best for your child’s and your family’s needs.
Full Program
Signing up for the full program means that your child’s spot is locked in for ALL 6 GROUP MEETINGS! We recommend this option for the biggest clinical benefit. It’s also the more cost-effective choice per individual meeting ($120 total discount). Sweet!
Single Sessions
Not sure if you can swing all 6 meetings? No problem!
Signing up for single sessions means that you can pick exactly which meetings your child attends. This choice allows some flexibility and costs less overall. Bussin’!
*PLEASE NOTE: Choosing this option means committing to AT LEAST FOUR (4) OF THE SIX (6) AVAILABLE MEETINGS.
We want to make sure this social group is worthwhile and makes a real difference for the families who commit to it. Participating in at least 4 meetings will give your child a much stronger chance of building a short-term routine around this event, creating meaningful connections with peers, and practicing social skills that take time and effort to master.
GROUP ARRANGEMENT
We will have two groups, arranged based on physical and developmental age.
ROCKIN’ RHINOS [3:00-3:50pm] will work on foundational social skills usually mastered when a kiddo is 5-7 years old (physical or developmental age).
ZANY ZEBRAS [4:00-4:50pm] will work on more complex social skills usually mastered when a kiddo is 8-11 years old (physical or developmental age).
Check with Miss Montana to find out more and see which group is the right fit for your child!
If your child does not have clinical information from speech-language services (e.g., speech-language evaluation, goals for speech therapy), we will provide a complimentary screening/mini-assessment before our first meeting to place them in the appropriate group.
Take a peek at “What’s it gonna cost me?” for details on pricing.
-
Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of $120 is due upon enrollment.
Screening/mini-assessment: Complimentary, if needed! See “What are my options?” for more details.
Full Program: $600 total/$100 per session ($120 discount)
Single Sessions: $120 per meeting ($480 for 4 meetings. $600 for 5 meetings, but at that point, you might as well sign up for the Full Program and get an extra one.)
*Commitment to at least 4 out of 6 meetings required
