WHAT

This 6-week social group is focused on communication, interaction, and engagement amongst preschoolers age 2.5-4 years utilizing the DIR philosophy, which emphasizes each child's individual
differences, engaging in the child's interests, and incorporating a focus on shared social problem solving.

The goal is to provide each participant with the opportunity to practice skills like connecting, communicating, and collaborating with peers.

The activities each week will be planned by the participants with the role of the therapist being that of a facilitator, rather than a leader, to help execute the ideas created by the kids. Participants in this friendship-building adventure will benefit from the unique opportunity to play, talk, and learn with their peers in super fun activities with the guidance and support of a trained specialist.
