Explore the wonders of the universe with new and familiar friends in this clinician-led social skills development group!
Come explore, chat, work together, and learn about new friends!
Want your child to have success with…
…developing relationships with peers?
…participating actively in conversations?
…taking turns?
…playing cooperatively with other kids?
Then this social skills group may be just what your child needs!
Our Summer Social Stars group is designed to…
…support the skills needed for your child to engage in cooperative play with peers, learn and use conversation skills, pick up on others’ emotions, increase independence with turn taking, and more!
In this setting, your child will get to practice all the know-how’s and what-to-do’s that kids need to build happy, healthy social relationships with those around them. This is a unique opportunity for your kiddo to do so with specialized support from a licensed & certified speech-language pathologist and occupational therapist.
Your child will participate in fun, age-appropriate activities while targeting skills that support social language/communication development. Activities will include: making play-doh, board games, obstacle courses, treasure hunts, and pretend play. Woohoo!
-
Montana Gregory, M.A., CCC-SLP will lead us to infinity and beyond!
A few more trained clinical team members will be there to support the group, too.
This summer’s intergalactic adventure will be designed for PRESCHOOLERS and RISING KINDERGARTENERS (3- to 6-year-olds)!
Your preschooler or rising kindergartener will work on foundational social skills that'll help them succeed in everyday life.
Your child will go on this adventure with a small group (up to 8 total) of peers with similar levels of social skill development.
See “What are my options?” for more info on group structure!

This opportunity will provide a safe space for your child to explore new ways to interact with peers, all while receiving evidenced-based support from a team of specialized clinicians.

GROUP SCHEDULE
We have two schedule options for you to choose from, depending on what works best for your child’s and your family’s needs.
Full Program
Signing up for the full program means that your child’s spot is locked in for ALL 5 GROUP MEETINGS! We recommend this option for the biggest clinical benefit. It’s also the more cost-effective choice per individual meeting ($50 total discount). Sweet!
Single Sessions
Not sure if you can swing all 5 meetings? No problem!
Signing up for single sessions means that you can pick exactly which meetings your child attends. This choice allows some flexibility and costs less overall. Bussin’!
*PLEASE NOTE: Choosing this option means committing to AT LEAST THREE (3) OF THE FIVE (5) AVAILABLE MEETINGS.
We want to make sure this social group is worthwhile and makes a real difference for the families who commit to it. Participating in at least 3 meetings will give your child a much stronger chance of building a short-term routine around this event, creating meaningful connections with peers, and practicing social skills that take time and effort to master.
This summer’s intergalactic adventure will be designed for PRESCHOOLERS and RISING KINDERGARTENERS!
Your preschooler or rising kindergartener (3- to 6-year-old) will work on foundational social skills that'll help them succeed in everyday life.
